We keep devices in circulation
SMD GmbH is based in Bad Lippspringe in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. We buy the devices businesses take out of service, refurbish them and bring them back to the market. This is not a sideline and not a plan for later — it is the business.
How we work
A device is an identifier, not a line item
What separates trading from refurbishment is traceability. Every device here is handled individually by IMEI or serial number — from goods-in through erasure and testing to settlement. That is why we can tell you what became of device 47 in your delivery.

Principles
Four things we hold to
Not a mission statement on the wall. The business does not work without them.
The description holds up
A device sold as grade A has to be grade A when the box is opened. Anything else costs more than it brings in — in returns and in trust.
Data are not negotiable
We erase every device and document it. Even when nobody asks, and even when it takes time.
We also say no
If a purchase does not add up for you, or Device as a Service is the wrong route for your case, we say so. A deal the customer regrets is not a deal.
Stay reachable
You speak to the people who handle the devices. No ticket queue, no contact who changes every time you call.

Where the name comes from
The mark says what the business is: a circle with two arrows. Devices come in, go out refurbished, and at some point come back. The circle is left open on purpose — no device runs forever, but every one runs longer than most people assume.
